The Aviators

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. 2019

These monumental (30’ wide) steel and fiberglass mirrored sunglasses float in front of a Magritte-like cloud filled sky. It soars above the waiting area adjacent to the T3 parking garage where families and friends can greet loved ones arriving in Phoenix. The 90’ wide mural behind the glasses is oil on canvas, hand painted by Chris and Will Kreig from Evergreen CO.
